Home Swapping is when you stay in someone elses property, or they stay in yours. The swap can happen during the same time period, or different, and can take place in your primary residence or a secondary property.
Letting someone stay in your home can make anyone nervous. The good news is that home swapping has been around for decades, and time has proven it to be a very safe (not to mention cost effective) activity.
You'll have a chance to get to know the people that you're swapping with first through the private messaging system that comes with your account, and subsequently via phone and email when ever you're ready to.

You would be surprised at how desirable your location is to others. If you lived there for a while, the novelty may have worn off. But every location has benefits that others will enjoy.
Yes. You control what information is public and private. Your address, postal code, email etc aren't revealed unless you choose to.
Uploading photos is quick and easy. Just log into your account, and click on the "Properties->MyProperties" menu item. From there, either add a new or edit an existing property.
You'll be presented with a browse button that will allow you to browser your hard drive and upload a .gif, .jpg, or .png image. If you have any questions or need some help, just contact us and we'll help you.
You can give your properties one ore more "tags", which are like a keywords. Tags help others find your properties easier. You can assign up to 10 tags for each property through the add property page available from the my account area after you log in.
For example, of your property was located in British Columbia, Canada you would add "moutains, skiing, ocean, fishing, golf, night life" to your property.
Each property listing shows whether or not the owner is interested in swapping their vehicle. Most home swappers are also interested in swapping vehicles too, but if not, the option to rent is usually an afordable alternative.
